Love is reality, and to love is in recognizing oneself in someone's look. Therefore, if you look into this lens and I find a way to recognize you, to strip yourself of your masks without feeling emberassed, perhaps, you and I together, we have taken a step inside Reality.

Certainly, they let themselves be photographed. They are not shy. They do not react to the camera's hypnotic force. They are exceptional, impassive models of an almost alien nobility. Is it them who resemble us, or is it us who wish to look like them? Dreaming of artificial intelligences and cyborgs, in a future that is now increasingly less sci-fi and more available, mannequins remind us of these glorious in-animated creatures, which means "without a soul". It is a sequence of intents, a flow of movements that starts from the recognition of the scene, goes on with a thoughtful technical execution aimed at its acquisition, and ends with the slight touch of the shutter button.
